frequently asked questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

DPC is a membership-based model that gives you unlimited access to your provider for a flat monthly fee— no insurance needed, no copays, no rushed visits, and no surprise bills for our patients.

What is our mission?

We combine traditional, evidence-based care with a proactive and holistic, whole-person approach to help you feel your best—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

What sets us apart?

We offer longer visits, transparent pricing, and a personalized care experience—without the insurance hassles. Our members benefit from our predictable low monthly fee without co-pays or deductibles.  Additionally, our providers make themselves available via phone & text.

Who can use our services?

We’re a great fit for individuals, families, college students, small business employees, and those without ideal insurance coverage.

Do you work with insurance?

We’re a subscription-based practice, which means we don’t bill insurance for routine visits. This keeps our pricing simple and our care focused on you. However, for more extensive labs or procedures, we can bill your insurance. DPC works well alongside high-deductible plans, health shares, and for those who are underinsured. Please contact us if you have any further questions on how your insurance works with DPC admin@hometownhealthdpc.com.

Can I see you without a membership?

A membership is not required for our cash services. However, our DPC model requires membership as it is designed to promote health through an ongoing relationship between you and your doctor.

Do you offer plans for employers?

Yes. We are committed to helping employers maximize their health benefit’s return on investment with direct primary care. Coupling Direct Primary Care with a high deductible plan or medical cost share is the best way for employers to provide a high quality health benefit while complying with the Affordable Care Act.
